Founded in 2014 by JP Haynie and Davis Ngarupe, Actual Source is a groundbreaking design practice, publisher and retailer focused on innovative design. From their beginnings in Provo, Utah, Haynie and Ngarupe's shared passion for graphic design led them to produce captivating books and periodicals. After being commissioned by the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, the duo launched Actual Source after their immersive project of the same name, which explored the art of exhibiting books in a multimedia installation. This innovative approach propelled Actual Source's rise as a trailblazing force in the design and publishing industry. And as a result, alongside a commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining possibilities, Actual Source continues to captivate audiences, elevating the art of design and publishing to new heights.
