Founded in Europe in 1989, Carhartt Work in Progress is a subdivision of American workwear company Carhartt. Since their inception, Carhartt WIP has carefully adapted their parent company’s characteristics throughout all of their designs. In turn, Carhartt WIP’s modifications to the workwear subcategory have effectively created its own subculture at the same time. By expanding their scope, while maintaining the same quality construction they’ve always been known for, Carhartt WIP continues to create functional workwear with a lifestyle-minded approach.
